Music Instrument Tuition (ages 7 to 17 years) from September 2024
From the beginning of September “one to one” music lessons will be restricted and new music workshops will be introduced. This is because we now have a waiting list that we’re finding very hard to make an impression on with delays of over 12 months for certain days. To solve this problem we’re introducing music workshops.
The first will be on Sunday mornings 11.30am to 12.30pm. A mid week session will follow by the end of 2024. The fee will be £54.00 for a 6 week half term period per student (about £9.00 per session) and will offer piano/keyboard, all types of guitar including ukulele, drums and tuned percussion and recorder. In time we hope to add different instruments as well. This will give children the chance to choose what instrument works best but will also help the more accomplished players progress as there will still be some “one to one work” included in the hour.
We expect there to be about 12 places available for ages 6 to 13 years. When a “one to one” session crops up priority will be given to members on our workshops so all new students joining will have to attend our workshops before being able to go to individual lessons.
The sessions will be run by our Principal Steve Muzolf with two assistants.
