Closed for Christmas
So that’s it for 2017. And what a year it’s been!
We hope you have a lovely Christmas break, and we wish you a happy and healthy new year.
Steve and Caroline will return for music lessons on January 2nd, whilst Simon returns on the 4th. Theatre groups begin with a new look Friday group on 5th January.
Here’s a little review of our year.
Theatre Groups
We’ve seen a multitude of growth in all three of our groups this year, so much growth in fact that we have had to change the layout of Friday group to cater to the large number of pupils, and the layout of our building!
Building Revamp
You’ll be forgiven if you didn’t notice our building revamp, there were only some subtle changes! Moving Steve’s cabin outside to allow us to have a bigger venue for our productions and concerts, and, although a lot of time and money went into the project, we are very proud and feel it was a great decision. Images of the revamp in progress can be found on our gallery page.
Pepperpots
2017 saw the return of our music and theatre toddler group the Pepperpots, run once again by Emma. We had an amazing response to this group, and we have many little stars who in the future may make the leap to our theatre groups.
Choirs
Caroline and her choirs have performed in a number of venues throughout the year, including Wyboston Lakes, Poppyfields, St Mary’s Church and more. The finale for this year was our Coffee Pots Christmas Choir Concert where a number of audience members turned up to watch, and sing with, members of The Capsicum Singers, Peppercorns Singers, and Peppercorns Junior Choir.
Music Lessons
Music lessons continue to flourish for Steve, Caroline and Simon, with Emma getting in on the act too!
